WARRANTY

This warranty statement outlines the rights and protections provided to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the specific warranty offered by IESS.

  1. Consumer Guarantees: IESS acknowledges that goods come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Consumers are entitled to remedies such as replacement, refund, or compensation for any loss or damage if the goods fail to meet these guarantees.
  2. Warranty Period: IESS offers a 1-year warranty from the date of practical completion on all materials supplied. During this period, IESS will repair any electrical or mechanical failures or faults, provide services and materials again, or cover repair costs, subject to certain conditions.
  3. Limitations: The maximum amount payable under the warranty is limited to the price paid for the works, inclusive of GST. The warranty does not extend to products not manufactured by the company, which are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The company excludes liability for consequential loss or damage resulting from any failure or fault of the works.
  4. Exclusions: The warranty does not cover consumables, normal maintenance costs, product recalls, or damage caused by various factors such as misuse, unauthorized repairs, liquid penetration, electrical interferences, vermin, rust, or excessive usage.
  5. Making a Claim: Consumers must notify the company in writing of any warranty claims within the warranty period commencing from the date of practical completion of the works. Claims made after this period will not be accepted, and consumers are responsible for their own expenses incurred in making a claim.

Overall, this warranty statement provides consumers with information about their rights and the company’s obligations regarding the goods and services provided. It outlines the scope of coverage, limitations, and procedures for making a claim under the warranty.
